Three accidents on the motorway on the Lecco and Dervio section
Two overturned cars and one car crashed into the tunnel wall, accidents also in Olginate and Calolzio
LECCO – Thanks to bad weather, since last night there have been several incidents on State Highway 36 and on the roads of the province.
At 8 o’clock in the afternoon on Friday, in the tunnel of the Lecco underpass, a car ran off the road and ended up against the protections on the side of the road, a 53-year-old girl and a 17-year-old girl were rescued but fortunately no transportation to the hospital was necessary.
Ditto for the 52-year-old driver, who flipped a jeep still at Statale 36 on the stretch between Dervio and Bellano, towards Lecco. The Fire Brigade together with the Red Cross and the Polstrada intervened to help him.
During the night in Lecco, at the roundabout near the Meridiana junction, a car rolled over. The 23-year-old who was behind the wheel was injured. She was rescued by firefighters and health workers and transported to the hospital in code yellow.
On the roads of the province there is also an accident in Olginate where, shortly before 10 pm, a car went off the road and overturned (see article). Finally in Calolzio, another overturning in the Viale Dante area, rescued two young men aged 22 and 21.
