We are moving towards new restrictions in Puglia to implement the red zone in view of the days close to Easter: this is what emerged from the emergency meeting called by the Region together with the Municipalities, unions and trade associations.
Among the hypotheses at stake would be the closure of all commercial activities at 6 pm except food stores and other essential activities (pharmacies). New provisions on takeaway food and number of customers in supermarkets will also be disseminated. On Palm Sunday, Holy Saturday, Easter Day and Easter Monday, all commercial activities may be closed.
“We continue to ask institutions and prefectures for control activities in the workplace and against social gatherings and a strengthening of the vaccination plan for which we renew the availability of our facilities,” wrote on Facebook Pino Gesmundo, regional secretary of the CGIL , among the participants in today’s meeting.
