Teams are working with snow cats due to the tall white coat that continues to pile up. But some rescuers also set out alone on skis to overcome the massive snow cover.

In Passo Valles, attempts are being made to reach another eight people who need to be evacuated. To complicate operations, the need to clear the roads of debris and trees that have invaded the roadways. A situation similar to that of Santo Stefano di Cadore, where rescuers have been working since last night to make the access roads accessible again. In Alpago, the security measures refer to the last flood that has not yet dried up. Other floods in the Feltrino area due to wind damage that uncovered several roofs.

Since last night, firefighters have been using a cutter together with the command’s avalanche team to open snow-blocked roads in the village of Ornella di Livinallongo (Belluno). The area was isolated due to bad weather that continues to rage, with snowfalls accompanied by strong winds.
