The victim is fifty years old, the tragedy in the Benevento area

She managed to rescue her three brothers, one of whom has a disability, but then, overcome by the smoke from the fire that broke out in the house, a 50-year-old woman died of suffocation. The tragedy took place around 4.30 in a house in Dugenta, in the province of Benevento.

Patrizia Napolitano, 49, is the name of the victim. After a fire in the house, which most likely developed due to a short circuit in the refrigerator, the woman gave the alarm to the three brothers she lived with. One of them immediately left the house for help, while the woman along with the other brother managed to save a third brother, who was blind.

Then, according to the story of the survivors, the woman was trapped in the house, probably passing out from the strong fumes of the smoke that led to her death. The body was transferred to the morgue of the “San Pio” hospital in Benevento for the autopsy examination ordered by the magistrate on duty, while the house was seized.
