Still above 1000: today in Friuli Venezia Giulia 1,043 new infections have been detected (14.37 percent of the 7,258 swabs made) and 25 deaths from Covid-19. Of the new positives to date, 176 refer to previous tests carried out in private laboratories. This was announced by the Lieutenant Governor with responsibility for Health, Riccardo Riccardi.
A total of 23,983 people tested positive for the virus in the region since the beginning of the pandemic, of which: 6,077 in Trieste (+ 128), 10,054 to Udine (+ 579), 4,638 in Pordenone (+ 138) and 2,905 in Gorizia (+ 186), to which are added 309 people from outside the region.
The current cases of infection are 12,975. The number of patients in intensive care (+ 1) and 509 hospitalized in other departments (+ 4) amounted to 55. The total of deaths amounts to 633, with the following territorial subdivision: 265 in Trieste (+ 5), 197 in Udine (+ 14), 149 in Pordenone (+ 5) and 22 in Gorizia (+ 1). The totally cured are 10,375, the clinically cured 218 and the isolated 12,193.
