There is no significant gap between the voters in the municipal elections and those in the referendum in the municipality of Reggio Calabria: last night we wrote it wrongly in light of the percentages provided by the competent authorities, but actually the difference in the percentage of participation. Not because the number of voters was different; but because the number of voters is different. Specifically, it is 72,752 voters out of 147,063 voters for municipal and 72,760 voters out of 138,565 voters for the referendum. The percentage is higher for the referendum only because the number of voters is significantly lower. IT IS only 8 peopleTherefore, they voted for the referendum rejecting the municipal ballot.
We thank the voters who pointed out the error and reconstructed the actual figures, beating any possible overly hasty consideration regarding a turnout figure that, even more so in light of this detail, is particularly high, despite fear of the pandemic.
