Reggio Calabria, extraordinary control of the local police in the city. Sanctions and seizures: a car stopped with 8 people on board

The local Reggio Calabria police, as part of the focus’ ndrangheta program, established an extraordinary control of vehicular traffic. The activities, developed for more than seven continuous hours, had 4 cars, a mobile office, two motorcycles; ethylometric precursors and breathalyzer. More than 170 vehicles and around 200 people were searched. 61 high reports for various infractions including: not using restraint systems, driving without a license, using a mobile phone while driving without headphones, wearing an unapproved helmet. 4 vehicles were also impounded. There were more than 80 conductors subjected to ethylometric precursors.

A car approved for five people driven by a Romanian citizen had 8 evidently without the possibility of maintaining social distancing. For the person responsible for a fine for not allowed cargo and for violation of anti-Covid-19 legislation. 215 between public and commercial establishments are also controlled. Activities were led on site by the manager.
