CD Projekt RED’s long Stations of the Cross seems to have just begun and is going through another studio release. This time, the developers specify that they intend to refund all purchases of Cyberpunk 2077, even those of physical copies, also with own funds if necessary.

The update came with another official note on the social pages of CD Projekt RED: “We just started responding to users with an acknowledgment message. We send these emails in waves, so don’t worry if you don’t receive them right away. At the same time, we would like to inform you that it is our intention to indemnify all owners of a physical or digital copy with proof of purchase (email [email protected]). We will also do all of this out of our own pocket if necessary. If you can’t get a refund at the store you purchased it from, please contact us by December 21. This initiative is unique, then we will inform all next movements only after we have cleared the requests once the window is closed“.

In short, the Polish studio seems willing to try all possible ways to repair the situation created with the launch of Cyberpunk 2077. Meanwhile, the situation between the developers and the management of CD Projekt RED seems quite tense.
