Regarding his support for the Conte government and the executive’s work during the most critical phases of the Covid emergency, Segre adds: “Without a doubt not everything has gone well, there have been delays and errors. But as I said we are facing something unknown and nobody knows exactly how to deal with it, so it is inevitable that both scientists and governments proceed by trial and error.
