“I respect science and the health sector, but it is necessary to give uniformity in the treatment of citizens and those who work.” Thus, the president of the Region Erik Lavevaz announces the issuance, already in the afternoon, of an ordinance that allows from tomorrow the reopening of all those activities allowed in the orange zone, from commercial establishments to personal care services.

During the press conference of the regional government, Lavevaz traced the permanence of Valle d’Aosta in the red zone to a different interpretation between Aosta and Rome in the last Dpcm.

“The amazement comes from the fact that we have epidemiological data that are improving and have been improving for a long time, from November 9 to 15 we had Rt of 1.14 and from November 16 to 22 of 0.99”.

The classification of the regions, as Lavevaz recalls, is carried out with a combination of two aspects: the given risk scenarios of the Rt index and the level of risk associated with 21 parameters.

The control room, as he explained to Lavevaz da Speranza on Sunday afternoon, “in the session on November 20, took note that the Aosta Valley was in a situation of data improvement. But it says that from November 20 until today 14 days have not passedi, necessary for reclassification. Piedmont and Lombardy, according to his interpretation, began to be in the orange zone from November 2 to 9 ”.

The President of the Region reiterated that this interpretation “is not correct. The Aosta Valley is in a better position for both the route and the landscape than even the yellow regions like Veneto ”.

Valle d’Aosta has informed the Ministry of the issuance of the ordinance, which will probably be challenged by the State. However, the times are tight, considering that the last Dpcm expires on December 3.
