Ancona 12/18/2020 – The Government has decided. After days of back and forth between hard lines and soft lines at the opening and closing of the Christmas period, Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte signed a new Decree Law with all the regulations in force from December 24 to January 6.
In this period, all holidays and days before holidays, Italy will be in Red zone while in the remaining days all regions will be orange. For ten days, on December 24, 25, 26, 27 and 31 and January 1, 2, 3, 5 and 6 There will be a total closure with the total closure of shops, bars, restaurants and activities considered non-essential. Bars and restaurants can deliver home delivery. You will not be able to leave home except for work, health and need reasons and in any case with self-certification. In the remaining four days of the Christmas period, that is December 28, 29 and 30 and January 4, Italy will be in the orange zone and therefore it will be able to reopen the stores but not the bars and restaurants that they will be able to take and deliver at home. It will be forbidden to leave the municipality of residence except for work reasons, greetings and needs and in any case only with self-certification.
Some have been added to the distribution list exceptions, already renamed “anti-loneliness”:
– in particular, without prejudice to the prohibition of movement between regions, a maximum of two people who do not live together will be allowed to visit other private homes once a day, both on “red” and “orange” days. The exception does not include minors under 14 years of age, whose movements, therefore, will be allowed;
– On orange days, residents in municipalities with fewer than 5,000 inhabitants will be allowed, always within the limit of two people maximum, to travel to other municipalities but only within a 30 km radius but will not be allowed to reach the capitals.
“We have launched a decree that combines strict measures with some social needs – said Conte – we wanted to include immediate refreshments in this decree. 650 million euros are immediately foreseen for bars and restaurants, forced to close, which will receive 100%”.
