“Ready to leave early”

The State-Regions Conference gave the green light to the vaccination plan presented by the Commissioner for the emergency, Domenico Arcuri, and mass vaccination will begin in early January. Based on what has been learned, today the Commissioner will send to the regions a kind of “instruction booklet” for the vaccine and within a week all indications for the administration procedure. 90% of the dose requests advanced by the Regions will be delivered and this is due to the fact that it has been estimated that 100% of the planned health personnel will not be vaccinated.

“The meeting with the European ministers went well and after the green light from the EMA we will be ready to leave a few days before the assessments we had made. For this we must be prepared with regional plans. This is what the Minister of Health said, according to what he learned, Roberto Speranza, during the government-regions meeting on the vaccination plan.

Boccia: “Tomorrow’s distribution plan”

«Today we give the green light to the vaccine distribution plan and tomorrow we bring the shared document to the State-Regions Conference so that it can be immediately operative, also from a formal point of view. The Regions, together with Commissioner Arcuri, have carried out specific and very rigorous work. The vaccination campaign will be a challenge that we will win together. This is what the Minister of Regional Affairs would have said, Francesco Boccia, according to what was learned, during the government-regions meeting.

Fedriga: “Maybe it’s ready by the end of the year”

«The hypothesis of the vaccination plan presented by the government at today’s meeting, which is scheduled to start in early January and could be brought forward until the end of the year, sees our regional structures prepared and we expect a high level of support. This was stated by the governor of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Massimiliano Fedriga, on the sidelines of the operational videoconference on the vaccination plan with Ministers Boccia and Speranza, with the extraordinary commissioner Domenico Arcuri and the members of the Conference of the Regions.
