Climate in severe deterioration in the center-north, more isolated rains also in part of the south and the main islands
A week begins under the banner of variable weather conditions due to the Atlantic currents that follow the transit of disturbance No. 5, currently present in our regions, and that will persist for the next few days causing numerous phases of rain. These entries of more temperate air masses will determine, in addition to a situation of constant instability, also a thermal decline, especially in the Center-North where temperatures will stabilize at values around the average. The southern regions, on the other hand, will continue to be bathed by warmer air that will help maintain a summery climate with peaks close to 30 degrees and locally even slightly higher. In addition, a further worsening of the weather is expected from Thursday , a decidedly autumnal turn triggered by the arrival of a more intense Atlantic disturbance. which will bring heavy and widespread rainfall, and will be accompanied by colder currents that, next weekend, will also lead to a more drastic thermal decline with temperatures well below average.
Weather forecast for Monday. Variable and sometimes unstable climate especially in the Center-North, where intermittent rains and thunderstorms will be possible, more common in the afternoon. Some broader spells, on the other hand, will hold out in the south and on the islands, but also in these regions there will be some brief showers or thunderstorms during the day. Maximum temperatures decreasing in the Center-North and in Sardinia; stationary and still at summer levels, however, in the south and in Sicily. Mainly weak winds, but with gusts in stormy areas.
Weather forecast for Tuesday. Lots of clouds in the north-central region with widespread rainfall and local thunderstorms, less likely on the central shores of the Adriatic. Brighter spells in the south and on the islands, but with some temporary cloudiness accompanied by isolated rains, especially in Campania, Puglia, western Sicily and northern Sardinia. High temperatures almost everywhere in a slight additional drop. Slightly reinforced winds from the southern quadrants. Most of the seas moved little.
