Genoa – Meteorological alert for rains and widespread thunderstorms. It is yellow in the west, in the Imperia area from 8 p.m. this afternoon until 9 a.m., and in all other areas of the region until this midnight, where it then turns orange until 12 a.m.
The worsening weather, as specified by Arpal who issued the alert, is due to a riots from France.
First rains in the afternoon, then at night they will be more intense with strong local storms. Bad weather will be felt at night and tomorrow morning, especially in central Liguria and in the Levant. There will also be major phenomena in the West, particularly in the Finale area.
September 7th
During the night and tomorrow morning, September 7, heavy showers and thunderstorms are still expected, with a greater probability of persistent phenomena in the center, on the slopes of the Po Levant and in the westernmost part of the regional Levante, as well as in the easternmost areas of the western slopes.
The phenomena will slowly fade from the afternoon on: however, residual anchor instability will remain in the inland areas possible storm episodes.

From the early hours of the night to the early hours of the afternoon, conditions of marked instability that in the presence of convergent wet flows favor precipitation with a predominantly stormy nature of intensity to very strong with significant cumulative areas in B, D and E: high probability of strong, locally organized and persistent phenomena in B, D, E, western part of C, eastern part of D; possible strong phenomena also in the eastern part of A. Reinforcement of locally strong N to winds in the afternoon in the Center-Ponente.

Residual instability with possible scattered showers at most until dawn. Moderate to locally strong north winds with gusts of up to 50/60 km / h in the central-western reliefs.
