Pensions: Quota 41 extended to all fragile workers
For 2021 pensions, Quota 41 is expected to be extended to new categories of fragile workers thus expanding the audience of beneficiaries.
Let’s say right away that Quota 41 allows you to retire with 41 years of contributions without the requirement of personal data. Quota 41 is for the pensions of those who are considered precocious workers or who have started to work before age 19 and who can claim 12 months of contributions before that age. Not only that, the precocious worker who wants to retire with Quota 41 must, to date, also have one of the following requirements:
- being unemployed after termination of employment due to dismissal, including collective dismissal, resignation for just cause or even consensual termination and Naspi’s termination for at least three months;
- be a worker with a disability with a percentage equal to or greater than 74%;
- be a caregiver who has been assisting, for at least six months, a family member with even severe disabilities according to law n. 104/92;
- having performed heavy or strenuous tasks.
The unions would like, and this is the pension proposal the government is working on, that all the above requirements are removed and thus allow all precocious workers to have access to Quota 41.
Not only that, and this is the other central point of the measure, it also allows you to retire with only 41 years of contributions, regardless of the personal requirement, to workers considered fragile Included in this category too immunosuppression, dialysis, diabetics and heart patients in addition to those who work in health and transport, for example, and who are more exposed to the contagion of Covid.
Obviously at the moment these are only proposals for pensions 2021 that must be met in the coming weeks with the Budget Law.
Pensions: other measures of the Budget Law
For pensions, not only is Quota 41 among the proposals that were discussed by the government and the unions in yesterday’s meeting, but also Social waters for example.
