One of the girls beaten on October 24 in Quezzi, in Piazzetta Pedegoli, did not succeed.

The 16-year-old girl died at the Villa Scassi hospital, where she had been admitted for trauma and severe burns reported in the fire that broke out from the scooter thrown against the bench where she was sitting with some friends.

The general conditions at first seemed good, but in recent days they worsened until his death, which occurred on Thursday morning. The 16-year-old had third-degree burns on forty percent of her body, and the death, explained by the Villa Scassi health management, is due to septic shock.

At the wheel of the BMW that had overwhelmed the group of girls at the Piazzetta Pedegoli, the night of October 24-25, was Luca Bottaro, a 23-year-old mechanic from Marassi, who had not stopped to help but had fled after having released the front of the car, it got stuck.

The 23-year-old was driving a car in which four other boys were traveling, all identified by the police: three of them had spontaneously presented themselves at the police station, a fourth was identified after investigations carried out by Upg agents in collaboration with the Local Police.

Bottaro, who is under house arrest, had to answer for very serious road injuries and lack of rescue (the same crime that is imputed to the rest of the passengers), but with the death of the 16-year-old he will have to answer for homicide in road. Two other girls were injured in the accident, a 16-year-old who had undergone delicate surgery to save her severely fractured leg, and another pregnant girl, also with severe burns to her legs.

During questioning, the 23-year-old said he fled in fear, admitting that he had also thought about taking his own life.
