A man is being investigated for injuries from administering antidepressants by putting them in his colleagues’ water bottles. The investigations were carried out by the police officers of the Beinasco station (who seized his mobile phone and computer), with the coordination of the prosecutor Rossella Salvati, in front of whom the suspect, assisted by the lawyer Marinella Ruffatto, confessed in recent days, early December 2020. “I did it because I was intimidated by my co-workers,” he said.
The episodes the researchers are sure of are at least three. One of them, last September, made one of the man’s colleagues (and his wife too, but only out of fear) end up in the hospital. Tests on the man had revealed traces of benzodiazepines, which he said he had never taken. Or at least, not voluntarily. Since then, investigations have been initiated that culminated in the confession before the magistrate.
