The President of the Puglia region, Michele Emiliano based on information from the Director of the Department of Health Promotion Vito Montanaro, reports that today, Tuesday, November 24, 2020, 9,770 tests of Covid-19 coronavirus infection were registered in Puglia and 1,567 positive cases were registered: 537 in the province of Bari, 162 in the province of Brindisi, 199 in the province BAT, 407 in the province of Foggia, 109 in the province of Lecce, 142 in the province of Taranto, 7 residents outside the region, 4 cases of province of unknown residence. 52 deaths were recorded: 13 in the province of Bari, 3 in the province of Brindisi, 2 in the province of BAT, 21 in the province of Foggia, 4 in the province of Lecce, 9 in the province of Taranto. Since the beginning of the emergency, 732,942 tests have been carried out. 11,823 patients were recovered. 32,959 are currently positive cases.
The total of positive cases of Covid in Puglia is 46,054 divided as follows: 17,833 in the province of Bari; 5,219 in the province of Bat; 3,223 in the province of Brindisi; 10,743 in the province of Foggia; 3,513 in the province of Lecce; 5,201 in the province of Taranto; 316 attributed to residents outside the region; 6 province of unknown residence. The Asl Prevention Departments have activated all the procedures for the acquisition of anamnestic and epidemiological information, with the aim of tracing close contacts.
