His phone suddenly rang on August 10. She saw a number that she did not know, Daniela Floris, 40 years old from Portoscuso, but still decided to answer: “A woman warned me that I had to quarantine myself because I had come into contact with a person positive for the Coronavirus. ” Lightning bolt out of nowhere for her, a security guard at a private company: “I have a rare form of heart disease, Bland White Garland syndrome. Eight days before the call, on August 2, I delivered a girl in the car who, according to the communication received, was already positive for the virus. And, for Floris, long days of anxiety begin: “I was locked in the house with my two dogs, an active quarantine. The result of the first swab, on August 11, was negative. “First sigh of relief. The second I did on the Friday before August, but the result only came on Monday: it is still negative.” Finally free: “Yes, because as the contact has been positive since August 2, the quarantine days are over. “

However, these were difficult times for the 40-year-old: “If I had tested positive, I don’t know what would have happened. My health is no longer good, ”he says. “The first thing I did was take my two dogs for a walk and, immediately after, go back to my normal life, to work.” However, Daniela Floris should speak to her lawyer soon: “I want to ask you if there is enough time to request compensation for moral damages to that positive girl, if it was established that she already knew that she was infected when she got into my car.”
