A woman called the police because her autistic son was having a seizure and was screaming in panic. The officers who arrived at the scene ordered the 13-year-old boy to get out and then, without being heard, opened fire, hitting the teenager several times.

Shock in Utah. A woman called the police because her son was having a seizure and could not calm down. But with the arrival of the agents, the situation worsened. The policemen ordered the boy to fall to the ground but then, without being heard, they began to shoot. The 13-year-old is now hospitalized with injuries to his shoulder, ankles, intestines and bladder.

Mother’s despair

The mother, Golda Barton, told the media that she called 911 (US 113) for help because her son was going through a crisis. The woman had recently returned home from her first day of work in more than a year and found her son in the midst of separation anxiety. “My son was not armed” – says the woman but “instead the agents showed up at the door and after telling him to lie on the ground for five minutes they opened fire”.
