POSITIVITY
152 new positives from Polesine residents (total of 5,166 Polesine residents positive for COVID-19 found since the beginning of the epidemic) including:
· 1940 man, resident of Upper Polesine. He went to the emergency room and was hospitalized for infectious diseases in Rovigo. An epidemiological investigation is underway to reconstruct the contacts.
· 1 operator of the “Casa del Sorriso” in Badia Polesine.
· 4 guests of the Albergo de Mayores House in Lendinara.
· 1 guest at the “La Rosa dei Venti” nursing home in Rosolina.
· 2 teachers teaching in a primary school in Upper Polesine. Samples were taken from ATA students, faculty and staff who had contact today.
61 of the 152 new positives arose from antigen testing.
52 people, of the 152 who tested positive, were already in home isolation.

– Man from 1928, resident of Lower Polesine. Upon confirmation of the positivity, he was admitted to the Covid Medical Area in Trecenta where, yesterday, he died.
– Man from 1936, resident of Lower Polesine. Upon confirmation of the positivity, he was admitted to the Covid Medical Area in Trecenta where, yesterday, he died.
– Woman from 1932, resident of Lower Polesine. After confirmation of the positivity, she was admitted to the Covid Medical Area in Trecenta where she died yesterday.
The total number of deaths with Covid-19 residing in Polesine has been updated according to regional statistics; people not reported in the daily bulletins in recent days did not die in our hospitals.

“The hospitalization situation has been quite stable for days; The 16 people currently hospitalized in Intensive Care in Trecenta are the highest number we have seen since the start of the epidemic. If the number of hospitalized patients continues to increase, it will be necessary to reduce ordinary activities to recover operators that will be assigned to Covid departments ”, comments the General Director.
