Today, Sunday, November 29, 2020, there are 2,021 more cases of people positive for the coronavirus than yesterday. Among them there are 797 asymptomatic, which is equivalent to 39.4% of the total. Therefore, the cases of people who have so far tested positive for Covid-19 in Piedmont amount to 166,331, divided as follows by provinces: 14,356 Alessandria, 7,683 Asti, 5,767 Biella, 22,827 Cuneo, 12,785 Novara, 88,655 Turin, 6,340 Vercelli, 5,485 Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, in addition to 927 residents outside the region but in charge of the Piedmontese health structures. The remaining 1,506 are under development and territorial allocation.
Hospitalizations and tampons: the numbers
Compared to yesterday, the number of hospitalized in intensive care is increasing (385 people in total, 1 more) and the number of hospitalized not in intensive care is decreasing (4,734 people in total, 47 less than yesterday). There are 71,865 people in home isolation. The diagnostic swabs processed so far are 1,546,447 (more 14,157 than yesterday) of which 790,052 were negative.
The deaths
84 Covid-19 Test Positive Deaths Reported by the Piedmont Region Crisis Unit. Of these, 7 occurred today (the cumulative update data reported daily also includes deaths that occurred in the previous days and only subsequently determined as Covid deaths). The total is now 6,154 deaths that tested positive for the virus, divided as follows by province: 927 Alessandria, 356 Asti, 286 Biella, 682 Cuneo, 546 Novara, 2,794 Turin, 307 Vercelli, 191 Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, in addition to 65 residents outside the region but died in Piedmont.
83,193 patients recovered from the beginning of the epidemic
Today, the Piedmont Region Crisis Unit announced that there are a total of 83,193 cured patients (more than 1,030 compared to yesterday) divided as follows at the provincial level: Alessandria 6,593, Asti 4,087, Biella 2,563, Cuneo 9,892, Novara 5,491, Turin 48,001, Vercelli 3,150, Verbano-Cusio-Ossola 2,504, as well as 452 extraregions and 460 in the definition phase.
