Today, Sunday, November 15, 2020, there are 3,682 more cases of people positive for coronavirus than yesterday. Among them there are 1,179 asymptomatic, which is equivalent to 32% of the total. Therefore, the cases of people who have so far tested positive for Covid-19 in Piedmont amount to 125,465, divided as follows by provinces: 10,970 Alessandria, 5,660 Asti, 4,441 Biella, 16,223 Cuneo, 8,911 Novara, 69,035 Turin, 4,588 Vercelli, 3,606 Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, in addition to 768 residents outside the region but in charge of the Piedmontese health structures. The remaining 1,263 are under development and territorial allocation.
Hospitalizations and tampons: the numbers
Compared to yesterday, the number of hospitalized in intensive care has increased (372 people in total, 12 more) and the number of hospitalized not in intensive care has increased (4,921 people in total, 19 more). There are 65,936 people in home isolation. The diagnostic swabs processed so far are 1,273,021 (more than 13,712 compared to yesterday) of which 680,743 were negative.
The deaths
There are 45 Covid-19 test positive deaths reported by the Piedmont Region Crisis Unit. Of these, 11 occurred today (the cumulative update data reported daily also includes deaths that occurred in the previous days and only subsequently determined as Covid deaths). The total is now 5,046 deaths who tested positive for the virus, divided as follows by province: 782 Alessandria, 309 Asti, 257 Biella, 527 Cuneo, 488 Novara, 2,214 Turin, 264 Vercelli, 154 Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, in addition of 51 residents outside the region but died in Piedmont.
Today, the Crisis Unit of the Piedmont Region announced that there are a total of 49,190 cured patients (more than 1,623 compared to yesterday) divided as follows at the provincial level: Alessandria 4,830, Asti 2,513, Biella 1,539, Cuneo 5,742, Novara 3,647, Turin 26,871, Vercelli 2,000, Verbano-Cusio-Ossola 1511, extra-region 278, in addition to 259 being defined.
