Today, Saturday, September 12, there are 93 more cases of people positive for coronavirus than yesterday. Among them there are 74 asymptomatic, while the imported cases are 14 out of 93. Therefore, the cases of people who have so far tested positive for Covid-19 in Piedmont amount to 33,671, divided as follows by provinces: 4,240 Alessandria , 1,930 Asti, 1,095 Biella, 3,237 Cuneo, 3,114 Novara, 16,766 Turin, 1,604 Vercelli, 1,199 Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, as well as 288 residents outside the region, but in charge of the Piedmontese health structures. The remaining 198 cases are in the processing and territorial allocation phase.

Compared to yesterday, the number of hospitalized in intensive care remains stable (9 people in total) and the number of hospitalized who are not in intensive care is increasing (today there are 104, two more). There are 1,917 people in home isolation. The diagnostic swabs processed so far are 634,323, of which 355,110 were negative.

In the afternoon, the Crisis Unit of the Region did not report the death of a positive person in the Covid-19 test. Therefore, the total remains 4,153 deaths who tested positive for the virus.

Today the Crisis Unit of the Piedmont Region announced that there are 27,145 virologically cured patients, that is, negative to the two tests at the end of the disease (more than 53 compared to yesterday), while another 343 are “in recovery” i.e. negative on the first test swab, post-illness and awaiting the second test result.
