Today, Thursday, November 12, 2020, there are 4,787 more cases of people positive for the coronavirus than yesterday. Among them there are 2,100 asymptomatic, which is equivalent to 44% of the total. The cases of people who have so far tested positive for Covid-19 in Piedmont amount to 112,054, divided as follows by province: 9,585 Alessandria, 5,154 Asti, 3,714 Biella, 14,365 Cuneo, 8,205 Novara, 62,135 Turin, 4,163 Vercelli, 2,873 Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, in addition to 714 residents outside the region, but in charge of the Piedmontese health structures. The remaining 1,146 cases are pending and territorial assignment.

Hospitalizations and tampons: the numbers

Compared to yesterday, the number of hospitalized in intensive care has increased (348 people in total, 8 more) and the number of hospitalized not in intensive care has increased (4,833 people in total, 43 more). There are 58,117 people in home isolation. The diagnostic swabs processed so far are 1,216,816 (more 24,901 compared to yesterday) of which 658,421 were negative.

The deaths

77 deaths of Covid-19 positive people reported by the Piedmont Region Crisis Unit. Of these, 11 occurred today (the cumulative update data reported daily also includes deaths that occurred in the previous days and only subsequently determined as Covid deaths). The total is now 4,903 deaths who tested positive for the virus, divided as follows by province: 765 Alessandria, 300 Asti, 246 Biella, 500 Cuneo, 472 Novara, 2,166 Turin, 256 Vercelli, 148 Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, as well as 50 residents outside the region but died in Piedmont.

Today the Crisis Unit of the Piedmont Region announced that the patients cured are a total of 43,953 (more 1,866 than yesterday) divided as follows at the provincial level: Alessandria 4547, Asti 2284, Biella 1351, Cuneo 5131, Novara 3521, Turin 23,484, Vercelli 1829, Verbano-Cusio-Ossola 1316, extra-region 263, in addition to defining 227.
