Today, Wednesday, November 11, 2020, there are 2,953 more cases of people positive for coronavirus than yesterday. Among them there are 1,038 asymptomatic, which is equivalent to 35% of the total. The cases of people who have so far tested positive for Covid-19 in Piedmont amount to 107,267, divided as follows by provinces: 9,321 Alessandria, 4,886 Asti, 3,457 Biella, 13,598 Cuneo, 7,930 Novara, 59,632 Turin, 3,916 Vercelli, 2,741 Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, as well as 686 residents outside the region, but in charge of Piedmontese health structures. The remaining 1,100 cases are pending and territorial assignment.

Hospitalizations and tampons: the numbers

Compared to yesterday, the number of hospitalized in intensive care has increased (340 people in total, 15 more) and the number of hospitalized not in intensive care has increased (4,790 people in total, 75 more). There are 55,224 people in home isolation. The diagnostic swabs processed so far are 1,191,915 (up 13,578 than yesterday), of which 647,992 were negative.

The deaths

There are 84 deaths of Covid-19 test positive people reported by the Piedmont Region Crisis Unit. Of these, 16 occurred today (the cumulative updated data reported daily also includes deaths that occurred in the previous days and were only subsequently determined as Covid deaths). The total is now 4,826 deaths who tested positive for the virus, divided as follows by province: 754 Alessandria, 293 Asti, 246 Biella, 491 Cuneo, 466 Novara, 2130 Turin, 251 Vercelli, 145 Verbano-Cusio-Ossola, in addition to 50 residents outside the region but died in Piedmont.

Today, the Piedmont Region Crisis Unit announced that there are a total of 42,087 cured patients (more than 1,350 compared to yesterday) divided as follows at the provincial level: Alessandria 4,456, Asti 2,232, Biella 1,287, Cuneo 4862, Novara 3,456, Turin 22,289, Vercelli 1,753, Verbano-Cusio-Ossola 1,288, extra-region 253, in addition to 211 being defined.
