Paris attacker, ‘couldn’t stand the Muhammad cartoons’ – Last Hour

(ANSA) – PARIS, SEPTEMBER 26 – Ali H., the 18-year-old Pakistani perpetrator who seriously injured two people in Paris yesterday in a terrorist attack with a butcher knife, told investigators that he did it because “no could bear the cartoons of the “Prophet Mohammed” the satirical newspaper recently republished, and confessed that he was convinced to beat up Charlie Hebdo, not knowing that the editorial staff of the satirical magazine had moved to a secret and ultra-protected place for 4 years . The Pakistani also said that he had repeatedly searched the area before taking action and that the presence of an alcohol bottle in his bag yesterday was due to his initial plan to set the building on fire.

Meanwhile, the police have verified that the Algerian arrested yesterday after the attack was not an accomplice of the aggressor, but a man who had observed him and tried to arrest him. For this reason, he was released last night after a few hours in detention.

Instead, there was a new arrest in Paris, overnight, in connection with yesterday’s attack in front of the former Charlie Hebdo headquarters. He is a former roommate of Ali H. (ANSA).
