If the work performance cannot be carried out in an agile manner, one of the parents, alternatively, can abstain from work for all or part of the time corresponding to the quarantine period of the minor under 14 years of age who lives together.

There’s a spending limit in relation to the benefit received, equal to 50,000,000 euros (for all applications) for the year 2020. In order to guarantee the replacement of the teaching, teaching, administrative, technical and auxiliary staff of the educational institutions benefiting from the benefits, the maximum authorized spending ceiling is equal to 1,500,000 euros for the year 2020.
The charges derived from the benefits granted up to 51,500,000 euros for the year 2020 are provided by means of the corresponding reduction in the expenditure authorization referred to in article 22-ter, paragraph 1, first sentence, of the Decree-Law of 17 of March 2020., No. 18, converted, with modifications, by law April 24, 2020, n. 27 and subsequent amendments.
