The wedding has turned into a nightmare. During the banquet, the bride was hit in the face by flambé, a cooking process in which liquor is added to a hot pan to create a flame. It happened in a theater in Trabia, in the Palermo area.

Partinico’s husband was the first to step in and try to put out the flames. The young woman, originally from Borgetto, was admitted to the center for serious burns at the Civic Hospital of Palermo. The incident occurred immediately after the couple entered the room, during the classic welcome flambé. After standing in front of the counter for the usual photo, the maitre d ‘began rummaging through the pan. However, after the ignition, a fire started that struck the bride in the face. The flames spread over her head and her dress.
Later, an ambulance transported the new girlfriend to the hospital who suffered burns to her face and upper body.
The carabinieri are now investigating the episode.
