After days back and forth, here it is finally new order signed by the governor of Friuli Venezia Giulia Massimiliano Fedriga which contains new anti-Covid measures to stop the advance of infections that continue to run in the Region.
The new ordinance at FVG
The new ordinance, effective from Tuesday, November 24 to Thursday, December 3, introduces some more restrictive and mandatory rules throughout the region, accompanied by strong recommendations, and initiates a screening aimed at isolating positive citizens from the Municipalities with the highest contagion rate.

To these prohibitions, then, the governor-elect with the center-right wanted to add some “Strong recommendations”: do not go to another house in a family unit other than yours, except by necessity; do not use local public transport except out of necessity that cannot be done otherwise; avoid generally crowded areas; and make the most of the smart work of public administrations and private entrepreneurs.
“We trust in the sense of responsibility of the population for certain behaviors on which we do not consider it appropriate to force the rules, trusting that they are perceived by all as fundamental indications to reduce the circulation of the virus”, explained Fedriga.
Population screening, how it works
The second part of the new ordinance, however, provides a broad population screeningand Friuli. “Isolating the positive to protect the most fragile part of the population and relieve pressure on health facilities: that is the challenge,” said the governor, who announced thepurchase of 100,000 additional antigen tests, so-called rapid shock absorbers, half of which will be available today and the other half tomorrow.
