Rome, January 3, 2021 – Monday, January 4, 2021 is the last day of orange zone expected in Decree Conte di Natale (calendar here) in the anti closure COVID-19. Monday, January 4, 2021, what can you do (within the municipality of residence)?
Today, and in general when you are in the orange zone, it is possible to circulate freely within your municipality, without the obligation to carry self-certification (except during curfew hours, that is, from 10 p.m. to 5 p.m.). The shops are open until 9:00 p.m., while the bars and restaurants are closed but take-out and home delivery services are allowed until 10:00 p.m.
What can be done (out of the ordinary)
Self-certification is required to move out of the municipality of residence. And in this case the movements are allowed for: work, emergency or health reasons. But also for him visits to family or friends, which can be done in the entire region of residence (therefore also outside the municipality) only once a day, for a maximum of two people (children under 14 years old and the disabled are not included in the count), and during the time when there is no curfew: therefore from 05 to 22. It is also allowed – for each family unit – to arrive second box, provided they are in the same region of residence.

Can I take a walk downtown?
You can move without self-certification only within your municipality of residence. Those who live in the center can therefore walk freely.
Can I go have a coffee at the bar?
The bars are closed. You can have a coffee but only to go.
Can I go to the restaurant?
Restaurants are closed. It is possible to order take away from 05 to 22.
Are the stores open?
Yes, the stores are open until 9:00 p.m., even in shopping centers.
Can I take a walk in the park?
Yes, but only within your municipality of residence.
Can I do sports outside my municipality?
Yes, it is possible to carry out sports activities outside the Municipality as long as it is not available in the municipality (example: tennis courts) Running and cycling: it is possible to cross municipal limits in “carrying out sports activities” and “as long as this movement continues to be functional only for the sporting activity itself and the final destination coincides with the municipality of departure”.
