What can and cannot be done: here is a brief guide to guide you without encountering sanctions, always keeping in mind the fundamental principle of safeguarding health.

Self certification
Movements are possible with the self-certification form. In the form, the movements must be indicated under the item “reasons allowed by current legislation”. The place of departure and destination must be indicated, but out of respect for privacy, the identity of the person you are visiting should not be indicated. Those who cannot print the form can request it at check time and complete it in front of the police.
Visits for couples
You can go to visit family and friends, but only two adults can stay in the same car, instead it is allowed to bring children under 14 years old and disabled or not self-sufficient people who live together. The decree specifies that “it is allowed to move to private homes only once a day in a period of time between 5 and 22”, so it is mandatory to respect the curfew and you must stay in your region. Only “residents of municipalities with fewer than 5,000 inhabitants can leave the region, but always within 30 kilometers of their residence and without going to the provincial capitals.” Those visiting family and friends can also stop and sleep.
Bars and restaurants
All public places are closed. For those who want, take away food is allowed until 10 pm and home delivery.
Checks at the houses

At the table, pay attention to the cutlery and glasses. Clean and disinfect hands before and after exchanging gifts.
Quarantine
Those returning from abroad must remain in quarantine for 14 days. Those returning from Britain must swab before departure, swab upon arrival, and remain in quarantine for 14 days.
Motor activity
You can leave the house for a walk (with the mask, near your house) and play sports but alone. The parks remain open. You can always walk the dog.
Second box
You can go to second homes that are in your region. Families moving to second homes can travel by car. If a couple visits family and friends in the second home, they can stop and sleep.
Homecoming
Those who are going to visit family and friends, even out of the ordinary, can return home between 5 a.m. and 10 p.m. The return to your home, domicile and residence is always allowed.
The curfew
The curfew is always in effect from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m.
Checks and fines
Those who violate the prohibitions risk a fine of between 400 and 1,000 euros. There are at least 70,000 control officers in the cities, on the highways, at the stations. They can also carry out subsequent checks. But police chief Franco Gabrielli recommended everyone to act rigorously but “with a comprehensive approach and common sense.”
