Some serological tests were negative, but the swabs gave the opposite result later.
The waste emergency in Palermo, caused by the Covid19 outbreak, is causing considerable annoyance. General manager Roberto Li Causi wrote to employees in a letter saying that obstructive behavior will no longer be accepted. The uncollected garbage now exceeds 2,000 tons: “New spurious and obstructive attitudes – said Li Causi – can only be subject to disciplinary proceedings.”
Right now Rap is facing a serious staff shortage amounting to 40-50%. In fact, the work of the two private companies was not enough to cover the numerous defections, including illnesses, law 104 and quarantine. Meanwhile, ten letters of objection have already been sent to so many workers.
