The situation at Cardarelli hospital is increasingly complex. There has been today 9 new entries in Infectious Diseases (3 patients from Termoli, 2 from Campobasso, 1 from San Polo Matese and then three from the Foro region). In the same ward there were simultaneously 3 discharges (patients from Isernia who were in Intensive Care, from Infectious Diseases of Campobasso and San Severo). Unfortunately, an elderly woman hospitalized in the ward died. The resuscitation situation is also aggravated, where three patients already hospitalized have been transferred (but not intubated) who have seen a worsening of their clinical condition.
Currently, therefore, there are 59 patients in Infectious Diseases and 9 in the rescue department, for a total of 68 hospitalized people with complications of Covid-19.

According to the daily bulletin of the Ministry of Health, 27,354 new cases of coronavirus have been detected in the national territory, compared to 152,664 swabs. The victims registered today were 504 with 70 new ICU hospitalizations and 489 more ordinary hospitalizations. The positivity rate rose to 18%.
As for the previous day, in Italy there were 33,979 new cases of Sars-Cov-2 with 195,275 swabs processed. The victims had been 546, with +649 hospitalizations and +116 people in the ICU. The positivity rate was 17.4%.
