An Atlantic disturbance is expected for Sunday, fueled by cold air and driven by strong Scirocco winds, which will also bleach the northwestern plains starting in the afternoon.
Alert in Milan, where in the last hours the City Council has convened the “snow table” for possible snowfalls between Sunday 27 and Monday 28 December. At the table, chaired by the Deputy Mayor Anna Scavuzzo and the Councilor for Mobility Marco Granelli, present all interested municipal departments, Civil Protection and subsidiaries A2A, Amsa, Atm and MM. The action plan that will be implemented in the hours prior to the disturbance and that will affect the entire area of the city was agreed, with the aim of not generating inconvenience due to the accumulation of snow.
Looking at the next few hours, the cold air and the worsening in particular in the Triveneto, the east and the south of Lombardy, as well as the lower Piedmont, Liguria with rains and Emilia Romagna. In the afternoon, bad weather will move towards Tuscany, northern Marche, Umbria, Lazio, Sardinia and most of the south. In detail, the snow will gradually reach lower altitudes and up to more than 400 meters in Emilia and 700-1,000 meters in the center. Tomorrow, Santo Stefano, on the other hand, will be characterized by icy winds in all regions with, in the morning, probable frosts in the North, where despite the return of the sun after ten days of cloudiness, the temperatures will be abrupt.
