The ‘black’ shadow that accompanied the Naples demonstration on Friday night could also darken the sky over Rome. Forza Nuova, the far-right movement, has launched an appeal to invade Piazza del Popolo. A procession that arrives 24 hours later to the sit-in that took place the night of October 23-24.
A real failure, however, that of Forza Nuova with some thirty people who found themselves in the Pyramid trying to reach the Lazio Region, but without succeeding.
At 11 pm on Saturday, Forza Nuova launched a new appeal: “At 11 pm everyone in Piazza del Popolo, in Rome, to protest against the health dictatorship and the curfew.”
This is the announcement of Giuliano Castellino, the Roman leader of Forza Nuova, who will participate together with the far-right movement in the protests tonight.
“VAT figures, merchants, patriots, spontaneous popular groups will unite tonight in Piazza del Popolo against the Dpcm, the curfew and the closure and we will be there too, for months together with the Romans and Italians against the criminal narrative and Covid terrorist who, with an infinite emergency, is starving our people by keeping them on the chain, ”Castellino said.
“If journalists, politicians and various right-wing people are right – he concludes – the revolt is tricolor, the people are united beyond the schemes imposed by the regime, the ideological poison and the false right / left clash; popular unity guarantees that in the future there can only be victory. ”
Castellino, a character already known to the police, had already taken to the streets weeks ago with the Covid deniers and the No Masks.
The Rome Police Headquarters, for its part, in RomaToday confirmed that authorization or notice was not requested for the procession in Piazza del Popolo. The police, however, are also monitoring the situation to avoid any possible public order problems as happened in Naples on Friday night.
