“In particular, some priorities are recommended to free choice primary care physicians and pediatricians: in the presence of a positive subject, immediately issue, uploading to the Covid-19 platform of the Piedmont region, the isolation measure and, based on the information collected, organize the quarantine of close contacts also through cohort or group measures; guarantee diagnostic tests (antigenic or molecular) for symptomatic subjects; guarantee molecular diagnostic tests for close contacts of positive subjects who cohabit with fragile subjects; guarantee diagnostic tests for the revocation of isolation measures with privileged paths respectively for health workers, people who carry out public utility functions, other people who carry out work activities not subject to suspension or smart work “.
“Asymptomatic subjects are quarantined (current expected time 14 days) without swab. The asymptomatic subject in close contact with a confirmed case who frequents or cohabits with frail subjects needs instead a molecular swab to enter quarantine. If said the buffer is negative, the quarantine will end as scheduled (currently 14 days). If the buffer is positive, the subject will go into isolation by default, with separation to preserve fragile subjects. “
A series of automatisms are foreseen:
- a) The NEGATIVE result of the swabs (molecular or antigenic) is also communicated by SMS
- b) The NEGATIVE result of the swabs (molecular or antigenic) is also communicated via SMS with a message of completion of isolation and predetermined measures
- c) The insertion of the swab request in suspicious or Covid-compatible subjects automatically generates the fiduciary isolation measure, which is also communicated via SMS
- d) The insertion of close contacts automatically generates the quarantine measure, which is also communicated via SMS
- e) The inclusion by laboratories or doctors of positive results automatically implies the default order issued by the CSI platform with the acquisition of the protocol number, also useful for INPS purposes;
- f) If the swab mentioned in point c gives a negative result, the fiduciary isolation of the suspect or COVID-compatible subject and the close contact quarantine are automatically revoked.
