The curfew
Curfew throughout Lombardy as of Thursday October 22, 2020. The draft order was signed in the last hours by Governor Attilio Fontana and Health Minister Roberto Speranza, sent to Anci and the mayors of the 12 capitals of Province that must evaluate it, establishes that from 11 at night until 5 in the morning of the next day we can only move for “proven work needs”, situations of need and urgency and health reasons. The doubts were thus overcome in the number 1 of Carroccio Matteo Salvini, who claimed to be against.
A self-certification will be required and the sanctions are those provided by the decree of March 25, 2020 on the coronavirus emergency. The curfew decision was made after examining the projections on infections that at the end of the month, if the trend does not change, could lead to up to 4,000 hospitalizations in normal wards and about 500 in intensive care.
