Genoa. The Genoa City Council has issued an ordinance prohibiting fireworks in the street in anticipation of the celebrations scheduled for tomorrow night.

Viale also spoke about the use of local police for checks: “We will employ 30 highly mobile patrols ready to intervene even at the request of citizens to whom we invite them to call in case of need and to whom we will respond promptly.”
In detail, the ordinance reiterates, according to Dpcm December 3 and December 18, 2020, that throughout tomorrow, December 31 and January 1, 2021, any form of meeting is prohibited, leaving the house unless is demonstrated. work, health or situations of need.
In all the city from 7:30 p.m. today, December 30, until midnight on January 1, 2021, Failure to comply with the provision, without prejudice to the sanctions, including criminal ones, provided for by current legislation, will be punished with a pecuniary administrative sanction of 100 to 500 euros.
When the infraction is challenged, the seizure of the pyrotechnic devices and explosive material in the possession of the offender is also established. It is also possible to apply additional penalties for violations of special laws or regulations.
