New variant of Covid, two-person test returned to Calabria from England

Cosenza – Two people of Italian origin, but residents in England, returned to a small town in the province of Cosenza for the Christmas holidays, arriving in Italy before the blockade of flights from the United Kingdom after the change in the Sars-CoV virus- 2. On the subject of returns, last Saturday the acting president of the Calabria Region, Nino Spirlì, signed an ordinance in which it is “strongly recommended” to undergo rapid and free antigenic swabs, on the 20th, 21st, 22nd and December 23, 2020, in drive-ins or fixed locations specifically enabled in each provincial territory. The provision identifies the places to take the test (from 9 to 17) in Catanzaro, passing through, the Catanzaro Sala funicular square; Cosenza, headquarters of Usca, via degli Stadi; Reggio Calabria, pass by Piazzale Ferrari – Pentimele; Crotone, pass by Piazzale antistadio; Vibo Valentia, pass by Palazzetto dello Sport, Via della Pace. This morning, on the driveway to Catanzaro, there were at least twenty cars lined up. The drivers, after the test, wait for the result that is delivered in about twenty minutes.
