For the first cycle it is confirmed that the teaching activities are developed in the presence, while for the second cycle it is conceivable the possibility of varying with respect to what has already been prepared for the beginning of the school year, but only “Prior notification to the Ministry of Education by the regional authorities, local or sanitary situations of critical situations and of particular risk referred to specific territorial contexts ” and informed by regional tables.
High schools may remodel entry and exit times, decide to schedule afternoon shifts or the start of activities from 9:00 a.m. or to carry out teaching activities remotely, without prejudice to the attention to students who need a particular inclusion, but only in specific cases that require such interventions as indicated in the regional tables.

The published DPCM rewrote, among other things, the letter r) of paragraph 6 of article 1 of the Decree of the Prime Minister of October 13, 2020. This provision suggests increasing the use of distance education and staggering entry times also through the possible use of afternoon shifts, provided that entry never takes place before 9.00. Both planned measures are subordinate to the “Prior communication to the Ministry of Education by regional, local or health authorities of critical situations and of particular risk referred to specific territorial contexts.”
