The new Dpcm approved yesterday will take effect on Wednesday 21. What does it mean for the school world? To explain the main points is the Minister of Education, Lucía Azzolina, on Facebook.
After all together having achieved the objective of resuming teaching in presence and safety, as evidenced by the data collected by the Ministry and certified by the competent health authorities, an additional effort is required, in order to meet the general needs of the system . Country for the containment of the Covid emergency ”, says Azzolina.
Here are the Dpcm measurements for schools explained by the minister.
Second cycle of education
Prior communication to the Ministry of Education by regional, local or health authorities of critical situations and of particular risk referring to specific territorial contexts.
Upper secondary schools:
- They embrace new forms of flexibility, also increasing the use of integrated digital education.
- They modulate even more (with respect to what has already been established since September and thanks to the work carried out this summer) the arrival and departure times of the students, also through the possible use of afternoon shifts; As part of this new modulation, they provide that the entrance to the school is not done before 9.00 am.
It is reiterated, therefore, that “critical and particularly risky situations”, represented by health authorities and local authorities, are the only ones that justify a possible revision of what has already been established, also in reference to the postponed entry at 9.00 am, to be requested Only if the conditions described above are met.
Except in these cases, it is not necessary to modify the entry and exit times and everything related to the timetable defined from the beginning of the school year.
Kindergarten and first cycle of education
With regard to kindergarten, primary school and lower secondary school, nothing changes, in the recognized priority of ensuring their orderly development in the presence of educational and didactic activities, to respond to precise didactic reasons and a general social need .
As envisaged in the “School Plan”, launched in June, in order to work in full synergy with all the institutional actors involved, the meetings of the regional and local tables and conferences will be held, provided for in the so-called “Plan School “, to coordinate and monitor the actions to be taken.
The Regional Offices (UAT), in conjunction with the Regional School Offices (RSU), will ensure the coordination and support of school institutions and the action of the School Directors.
