Yesterday there were 21,052 infections with the highest number of tests (194,984). The positivity rate goes back to 11.5% (+ 0.8%). The number of hospitalized patients with symptoms increased (+233) after yesterday’s significant decline. On the other hand, patients admitted to intensive care units continue to decrease: -63.
The currently positive ones that today are 755,306. Today 17,186 are discharged / cured, for a total of 913,494 since the beginning of the epidemic. At the territorial level, the regions with the highest number of infections are Veneto (3,444), Lombardy (2,413), Puglia (1,789), Emilia Romagna (1,788) and Lazio (1,632).

Coronavirus, data from the regions

There are 3,444 new infections registered in Veneto in the last 24 hours. There are 37 deaths for a total of 4,210 deaths since the beginning of the epidemic. The positives really increased (1,846 more than yesterday) and also the number of hospitalized wards in the medical area (+23). Decrease in intensive care (-6).
Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia 702 new infections were detected (11.27 percent of the 6,227 swabs performed). In addition, 20 deaths from Covid-19 were recorded, in addition to 7 other previous deaths entered the system today and related to the period from December 1 to 4. This was announced by the Deputy Governor responsible for Health, Riccardo Riccardi. New positive cases registered in the last 24 hours in Tuscany 753 of 12,142 molecular swabs and 2,074 rapid tests were performed. The Governor of Tuscany Eugenio Giani communicated this through his Facebook page. The situation is substantially stable compared to yesterday, a day when the number of swabs performed was however higher. The new positive cases registered yesterday in Tuscany were 769 of 13,229 molecular swabs and 2,776 rapid tests performed.
At Market 443 new cases out of 3,792 swabs were recorded: 2,424 in the new diagnostic pathway and 1,368 in the cured pathway. These cases include symptomatic subjects (52 cases detected), household contacts (94 cases detected), close contacts of positive cases (134 cases detected), contacts in the work environment (23 cases detected), contacts in living / social settings (14 cases detected), contacts in the healthcare field (4 cases detected), contacts with the involvement of students of all educational levels (22 cases detected), screening of healthcare channels (7 cases detected) and 1 return from abroad. For another 92 cases, epidemiological investigations are still underway. In the Antigen Screening Pathway, 706 tests were performed and 10 positive cases were found (to be subjected to the molecular swab).
In Umbria the new positives are 234, compared to 226 yesterday. There are also nine deaths with a total of 460 victims since the outbreak began throughout the region. Currently the positives are 6,065, compared to 6,149 yesterday. 393 Covid patients (+1) are hospitalized in hospitals in the region, of which 60 are in intensive care (-1 compared to the previous bulletin).
In Lazio There are currently 94,211 positive cases for Covid-19, of which 3,136 are hospitalized, in addition to 340 patients in intensive care (still below yesterday) and 90,735 in home isolation. Since the beginning of the epidemic, a total of 33,422, 2,622 deaths have been cured and the total number of cases examined is 130,255. This is the updated newsletter of the Lazio Region.
In Abruzzo there are 294 new positives and 11 deaths in the last 24 hours. This was communicated by the Region. The new cases, of which 54 in the Pescara area, are between 8 months and 100 years old. From the total, 2 cases from the last days must be subtracted, whose residence has been verified and attributed to the reference province.

Unfortunately there were 24 deaths: 5 in the province of Bari, 12 in the province of Barletta, Andria, Trani, 5 in the province of Foggia, 2 in the province of Taranto. At the beginning of the emergency, 839,673 tests were carried out, 16,795 patients were cured and currently 45,834 are positive cases.
