Citizenship Income Renewal

In fact, Decree 4/2019, in article 3, section 6, specifies that “The Rdc is recognized for the period during which the beneficiary is in the conditions provided for in article 2 and, in any case, for a continuous period not exceeding eighteen months. The Rdc can be renewed, after suspending its delivery for a period of one month before each renewal. The suspension does not operate in the case of the Citizenship Pension. “
The one-month suspension, therefore, required to submit a renewal application, could have a double value: if on the one hand the month without receiving payment, the 27 of the following month that of the last reload, it could also be interpreted as next month.
In the first case, consequently, the presentation of the renewal request could be submitted from the 27th of the month following the last recharge, in the second, however, it would be necessary to wait for the first days of the month following the one in which the grant is received.
At the moment, however, it is not clear how Article 3, paragraph 6 of Decree 4/2019 will be interpreted.
In your case, therefore, having received the first payment in May 2019, you will receive the last recharge on October 27. You could apply at the end of November and get the first payment of the new tranche as early as December, if instead you are allowed to submit only after the following month has passed, you can apply in early December by receiving the first payment of the additional 18 months only in January 2021.
My advice, in this sense, is to wait for the INPS instructions in this regard, which, in any case, should arrive shortly since in just under 10 days many beneficiaries will receive the last recharge (those who, having submitted an application in March, received the first payment in April 2019).
