(ANSA) – PERUGIA, AUGUST 29 – The swabs for Covid that the school staff in Umbria have been subjected to so far, after having performed the serological test, have been found to have come into contact with Covid-19 . The Region announces it.

Thanks to the campaign promoted by the Region itself, a total of 5,956 serological tests were carried out on teaching and non-teaching staff and, of these, contact with the virus was found in 85 cases. Then we move on to the verification with the molecular swabs all negative at the moment.

The nearly 6,000 tests were carried out from August 24 to 28. The serological screening campaign for Covid-19 infection aimed at school, teaching and non-teaching staff, public and equal schools of all levels and levels will continue until September 12 in health districts, according to the established calendar.
