Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 974 new infections have been detected in 12,921 swabs (equivalent to 7.54%), of which 1,825 are fast antigenic. Deaths (8 cases plus a previous one, 23 less than yesterday) and intensive care (55 in total, -4 compared to yesterday) and hospitalizations in other services decreased (594, -7 patients compared to December 18) .
A total of 44,533 people tested positive for the virus in the region since the start of the pandemic, of which: 9,462 in Trieste (+145), 19,812 in Udine (+366), 9,445 in Pordenone (+357) and 5,269 in Gorizia (+101), to which are added 545 people from outside the region (+5). The current cases of infection are 14,127. Total deaths amounted to 1,408, with the following territorial subdivision: 420 in Trieste (+2), 612 in Udine (+4), 287 in Pordenone (+3) and 89 in Gorizia.

The totally cured are 28,998 (+1228) while the clinically cured are 647 (+8), while the isolated ones are 12,831.
