“Sorry mom, I’m scared of black.” This is the last note written by the 11-year-old boy who last night was launched from the tenth floor where he lived with his family, in Naples, in the First Municipality. The baby, according to the reconstruction, jumped into the void shortly after midnight. He fell on an internal balcony, when the rescuers arrived they could not help ascertaining his death. To warn the 118 were the family, who, not finding him in bed, searched for him in the house and then made the terrible discovery.
Before making the gesture, the child would have left a note with which he apologizes to his mother and in which he refers to a state of fear experienced in the last hours of life. The 11-year-old boy refers, in particular, to a black man, and the researchers do not rule out that he has been the victim of the so-called “horror challenge”, of the “blue whale” type, a game that takes place entirely online, which includes acts of self-harm and even, eventually, suicide. According to what has emerged so far, it seems that the boy, who lives with his family in the Chiaia district of the city, was healthy and happy, played sports and was perfectly integrated.
