Museums, 13 new superdirectors arrive – Ultima Ora

(ANSA) – ROME, SEPTEMBER 12 – Francesca Cappelletti in the Borghese Gallery, Stéphane Verger in the National Roman Museum of Palazzo Massimo, Edith Gabrielli for Vittoriano – Palazzo Venezia. These are the three new top-tier super directors announced by culture minister Dario Franceschini along with 10 other super directors. “The Italian model is an excellence in the world”, emphasizes the minister. The candidates will be evaluated by a committee chaired by the director of the Egyptian Museum in Turin and made up of the directors of the National Gallery in London, the Prado in Madrid and renowned experts. In total there were 425 candidates, here are the names: 1) BORGHESE GALLERY: The new director is Francesca Cappelletti.

2) ROMAN NATIONAL MUSEUM: The new director is Stéphane Verger.

3) VITTORIANO-PALAZZO VENEZIA: The new director is Edith Gabrielli.

4) GIROLAMINI LIBRARY: The new director is Antonella Cucciniello.

5) NATIONAL MARCH GALLERY: The new director is Luigi Gallo.

6) MUSEO ARQUEOLÓGICO NACIONAL CAGLIARI: The new director is Francesco Muscolino.

7) ABRUZZO DELL’AQUILA NATIONAL MUSEUM: The new director is Maria Grazia Filetici.

8) NATIONAL MUSEUM OF MATERA: The new director is Annamaria Mauro.

9) PALAZZO DUCALE DI MANTOVA: The new director is Stefano L’Occaso.

10) PALAZZO REALE DI NAPOLI: The new director is Mario Epifani.

11) OSTIA ANTICA ARCHAEOLOGICAL PARK: The new director is Alessandro D’Alessio.

12) SIBARI ARCHAEOLOGICAL PARK: the new director is Filippo Demma.

13) NATIONAL GALLERY OF ART OF BOLOGNA: The new director is Maria Luisa Pacelli. (HANDLE).
