A man and a woman were found dead around 9 a.m. in an apartment in uptown Ariccia, Castelli Romani, a few kilometers south of Rome. The carabinieri from the Ariccia station intervened on the spot. To call them they would have been neighbors after hearing shots from the apartment of the two. When the military entered the house, they found the two bodies. It would be two retirees.

A murder-suicide case

No other details have been revealed, at the moment, but the most plausible hypothesis, at the moment, is that of the murder-suicide. From a first examination it would appear that the man fired a gun at the woman and then killed himself with the same weapon. A hypothesis, the one that arose from the investigations of the Ariccia carabinieri Radiomobile Nucleus, which in any case must be confirmed by a more in-depth examination by the coroner.

The man would leave a note

The hypothesis seems to be confirmed with a note, in which the man would have described the reasons for his gesture. He would shoot his wife and kill himself. The corpses, both of them, were on the bed. The magistrate on duty from the Velletri Public Ministry also arrived and opened an investigation file on the matter. Also on site is the forensic doctor, who is examining the two bodies in depth. The apartment has been cordoned off and there are several carabinieri cars on site. The military seized the murder weapon, which was normally held by the owner.
