PRE GARA

There is a lot of Italy and a lot of Yamaha, in the front rows of the Grand Prix of San Marino and the Rimini Riviera. In fact, the official classification of the sixth round of the MotoGP calendar was dominated by the Japanese manufacturer’s motorcycles, with the first four fields occupied by the riders of the official team and the Petronas team. A tic-tac-toe guided by Maverik Viñales which, mounting the factory Yamaha, gets the official record of the “Marco Simoncelli Misano World Circuit” worth pole position.

The Spanish, with his 1: 31: 411, exceeds three tenths of a second Franco Morbidelli who, after some moderate careers, try to rekindle their ambitions. The Frenchman closes the front row Fabio Quartararo (Morbidelli’s teammate), who hopes to extend the overall standings again by earning his third win of the season. “El Diablo”, in fact, currently occupies the first position, but with only three points of advantage over our Dovizioso. The Yamaha Quartet closes Valentino rossi who, with his new helmet in sight, makes him detach a little longer than that of the world leader.

The home air, however, is also good for the other pilots in the Italian troop. Bagnaia actually closes the second row, while Andrea Dovizioso, very busy in the fight for the MotoGP World Championship, he will start behind him in the third row. A little more distant, however, is Danilo Petrucci who, with the Ducati, marks the 15th time in the standings.
